Ever wondered how you turn an idea into a story? Or a story into a poem? This workshop is about turning ideas into something bigger and looking at writing tricks and techniques to help you build your poetry as well as getting you ready to take those poems to the stage!
In person – 10 November from 2-3pm in Meeting Room 1 at Indooroopilly Library.
Online – 10 November from 2-3pm AEST via Zoom. (Once you've booked a ticket, you'll receive your Zoom link a day before the workshop.)
About the facilitator: Angela Peita is a founding member of Ruckus Brisbane, one of Australia's longest running & most vibrant poetry slams. She is a dynamic spoken word performer and workshop facilitator. She has performed nationally and internationally and has taught writing and performance workshops in schools and festivals all across the country
